St Mary's Secret Garden
EDUCATION
We offer a National Proficiency Test Council qualification , a pre-NVQ qualification in horticulture. Previous garden users have developed confidence and self esteem alongside their literacy, numeracy, independent living and work skills.
Take Mick for example – he came to St Mary's once a week and then started work in supported employment three days a week. With these new skills and experience he has also enrolled on a horticultural course at a mainstream college.
