Today we started by building a polytunnel for the plants in our gardening bed. Doing this will warm up the soil in the bed which is better for the plants to grow.
Also we made celeriac chips. The next thing we did was go to the green house and sow Beetroot. We also wrote out recipes for the recipes book.

Today we started the day by making bread by adding flour and mixing it with yeast. Then we chose a recipe and rewrote it in our own words and if you wanted to you could have decorated it. Everyone’s one came out perfect. The yeast came out perfect and the bread tasted splendiferous, and wonderful.

Today we made lemon and orange meringue fairy cakes. It tasted nice and we also started work on our recipe book. We decided to base it on the 4seasons SPRING, SUMMER, AUTUMN AND WINTER.

Today we made some fat balls of oats, seeds and melted lard. We then put the mixture into some tins and put it outside in the cold to harden.
After a while we started to make butter. We put a 1/3 of double cream into a jar. Then we put on the lid and stood in a circle and shook it up and down, but, we passed it round so everyone got a turn.
Then we unscrewed the lid and we squeezed out the buttermilk and put it in the fridge and left it for a couple of mins. We all tasted the butter on some bread. It tasted delicious. Everybody had a great time.
